What makes our mud adobe and mortar different?
Clay Mine Adobe’s mud adobe and mortar is produced by blending a specific clay soil with cement to create a stabilized earthen block.  The resulting stabilized mud adobe contains about 10% cement making it highly erosion resistant while retaining the traditional look and feel of adobe.  The mortar is blended and bagged using the same materials and similar cement ratios as the adobe to provide color match and to ensure compatibility with the adobe in construction. The mortar is “add water and go” for easy application and jobsite quality control.
